These terms apply to all website design and hosting services provided by Studio Prosper ("we", "us", "our") to business clients ("you", "your"). By completing a Stripe Checkout or paying an invoice from us, you agree to these terms.
Studio Prosper is a sole trader business operated by David Prosper, based in Manchester, United Kingdom.
This information is provided in accordance with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002.
For a one-off setup fee of £199, we will provide:
After the first 12 months, hosting and domain renewal continue at £49 per month. This covers your domain, hosting, SSL certificate, and minor content updates.
We may build a prototype of your website speculatively — before you have asked us to. This is at our own cost and risk. You are under no obligation to purchase it.
If you choose to proceed by completing payment, we will:
We aim to have your site live within 7 working days of receiving payment and any content you want included. If you do not provide requested content within 30 days of payment, the project will be paused. A £49 restart fee applies to resume paused projects.
Your package includes one round of revisions — a single list of minor changes such as text edits, image swaps, or colour adjustments. We will complete these within 5 working days.
Major structural changes or additional sections beyond the original scope will be quoted separately before any work begins.
Your website may include text, images, and design elements generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. We review all AI-generated content for accuracy and quality, but we cannot guarantee it is completely free from error.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before your site goes live. If you spot anything incorrect — a wrong phone number, a misspelled name, an inaccurate description — tell us and we will fix it at no extra cost as part of your revision round.
You must not ask us to publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of any third party. If you provide content that causes a legal claim, you are responsible for it.
Once payment is cleared and the site is delivered:
Domain name: The domain is registered in your name. If you cancel the hosting, the domain is yours to keep or transfer. We will provide the transfer code on request within 14 days.
Hosting and domain services are included for the first 12 months as part of the £199 setup fee. After this, the £49/month retainer applies.
The £199 setup fee is non-refundable once we have begun work on your site (registering your domain, configuring hosting, or making changes based on your feedback).
If we built your site speculatively and you have not yet asked for any changes or provided content, we have not yet begun work on your behalf. In this case, a full refund is available within 14 days of payment.
If you are a consumer (not buying for your business) and believe you purchased in error, contact us within 14 days for a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
This service is offered on a business-to-business (B2B) basis. By purchasing, you confirm you are acting in the course of your trade, business, craft, or profession.
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 do not apply to B2B contracts. However, we voluntarily offer the consumer refund right described in section 8 above to any individual who purchases in error.
We collect and process limited personal data to deliver our service:
You may receive an initial email from us if your business appeared in a local search without a website. This is a business-to-business communication sent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
If you do not want to hear from us, reply with “Remove” and we will delete your details immediately and permanently. We maintain a suppression list to ensure you are never contacted again.
If something goes wrong, email team@studioprosper.co.uk with the subject line “Complaint”. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 working days.
If we cannot resolve your complaint directly, either party may refer the matter to the courts of England and Wales.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: internet outages, hosting provider failures, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government actions.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will email you at least 30 days before the new terms take effect. Your continued use of our service after that date means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel under section 7.
